The original MTV New Year’s Eve Rock n’ Roll Ball Drop still holds a very special place in my heart. Watching the ball dance down that New York City skyscraper, seeing all the great performances, and seeing footage from the staging area (where most of the mayhem on that stage happen). It was without a doubt one of MTV’s finest hours and to celebrate we’ve compiled a list of all the music videos that were aired. Enjoy!

MTV began with 2 channels: one for rock/pop music and one for light contemporary music. It gradually added more channels over the years and now has more than 200.

MTV’s first video was Video Killed the Radio Star by The Buggles. It aired on August 1, 1981 at 12:01 am. The video was shown only once in its entirety, and only a small portion of it was shown again in the following days. It was also promoted with an advertisement in Billboard magazine prior to its debut airing (see below).
The first time MTV aired a music video in its entirety was during its first half-hour show on August 1, 1981 from New York City featuring the Buggles’ “Video Killed the Radio Star” followed by Pat Benatar’s “You Better Run”. The Benatar video proved so popular that MTV continued to play it throughout the day, setting their format for years to come. In fact, this is why many people believe that “Video Killed the Radio Star” was actually MTV’s first video.

The video is set in New York City, where she is seen getting ready for a party and then going clubbing with friends before the next morning hits when everyone wakes up hungover and feeling bad about their actions from the night before.
Chris Brown’s music video for his single “Look At Me Now” sees him performing with Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes at various locations around Los Angeles including Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and Hollywood Boulevard.

Mtv 2 Large is an American television channel owned by Viacom Global Entertainment Group, a unit of the Viacom Media Networks division of Viacom.
The channel was launched on November 1, 1999 as MTV2, a secondary network to MTV. The channel mainly broadcasts music videos and occasionally films. It has a more diverse playlist than the main MTV channel with some unique programming, such as shows about cars and sports.
In September 2016, Viacom announced that the network would be rebranded as NickMusic in October 2016, with no programming changes planned at this time. However, on October 26th 2016 the rebranding was canceled with no official announcement made about it by MTV/Viacom representatives or any other media outlets outside of social media.
Mtv 2 Large is available in many countries across Europe but it is not available in Ireland and the United Kingdom due to its absence from Sky’s EPG.
MTV 2 is an American digital cable and satellite television channel owned by Viacom Media Networks. Its programming focuses on non-music related programs. The channel was originally launched in 1996 as M2 with a focus on alternative music; however, since June 1, 2016, it has shifted its target audience towards males 18-34 years old, and features a variety of programming genres that appeal to the aforementioned demographic.

Marilyn Manson is a rock star, and he’s not afraid to show it. In the video for “Why Do You Love Me,” directed by David LaChapelle, Manson struts his stuff in a series of extravagant costumes and poses. It’s a good thing he knows how to work the camera, because he spends most of this clip looking straight at it.
The video opens with a shot of Manson standing on top of a New York City bus, wearing nothing but underwear briefs (and lots of makeup). The next scene shows him lounging in a chair surrounded by women dressed in lingerie (one woman pours milk over her bare chest; another licks it off). Another scene shows him standing on a rooftop wearing only shorts and sunglasses while two women wash his hair with shampoo that looks like whipped cream.

Mtv Spring Break 2001 was the first ever mtv spring break. The event took place in Panama City Beach, Florida from March 13 to March 18, 2001. It was also the first time that MTV broadcast its annual spring break special live from a location other than South Padre Island, Texas (which has held the event since 1987). The event was hosted by Nick Lachey, with performances by Nelly, Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears.

On the latest episode of MTV’s “Total Request Live,” host Carson Daly had a special guest. It was Tom Green, who appeared in a music video parody with LL Cool J.
The two rappers teamed up to make fun of “Gin and Juice.” The song was released on Tuesday (Jan. 17) and already has more than 1 million views on YouTube.
The video starts off with Tom saying, “I’ve been drinking gin and juice all day long.” He then asks LL if he wants some, but the rapper replies that he’s busy working on his album.
Tom then says, “It’s not about work, it’s about getting drunk,” which is when they both start drinking from bottles of gin and juice while dancing around the stage together.
